The University Endowment Lands are unincorporated provincial land — around 3,000 acres set aside beside the Point Grey campus under the 1920 University Endowment Act, with the first residential lots auctioned in 1925, the same year UBC's Point Grey campus opened. Today it's a leafy, parklike enclave wrapped in Pacific Spirit forest.
